Hi the example l am looking at for BBC satback 27.5w is-
The format l found is caid: provider: sid: pmt: key:
I found an example as indicated
2600:000000:1044:0064:1FFF:: D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 ;BBC One England (27.5°W)

but l cant relate the "1044:0064:1FFF" element?

caid=2600:000000:1044:0064:1FFF::
ident=D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 ;BBC One England (27.5w)
thats what i believe to be the case but i dont seem to be able to get it right
so someone correct me if ive not got it right please
as i probably got something wrong somewhere

I think l have sorted it but not tested it
caid: provider: sid: pmt: ecm: key: Channel name
caid (2600) provider (000000) sid (4164) PMT (100) ECM not sure about this but all the channels end with 1FFF Biss key
D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 ;channel name (BBC One England (27.5°W))
2600:000000:1044:0064:1FFF:: D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 ;BBC One England (27.5°W)

I took the king of sat info for intelsat 907 and converted sid (4164) PMT (100) to hex 1044:0064
the key is entered twice similar to the 5402 m3
I am sure that some one with greater knowledge will correct this explanation

I have brought my TM-Nano m3 to the Algarve and trying to setup BBC Satback. I have OSCam r11398 and CCCam 2.3.0 available

I have scanned and received all the channels but I am a little confused when setting up biss keys for use under oscam. I have created a SoftCam.Key file and loaded it /etc/tuxbox/config

An example for a BBC One HD channel :-

“F 0001448419C9 00 D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 ; BBC One HD (27.5W)”

But this is not clearing to show BBC One HD when using OSCAM

On some example l see the use of caid 2600 in the softCam key file

“2600:000000:4484:19C8:1FFF::D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 D5 81 F9 4F 24 11 2D 62 ;BBC One HD (27.5°W)”

I have also tried the CCCAM method and created a constant.cw file /usr/keys/constant.cw

The example of the file for BBC One HD is-

“F 44841FFF 01 D581F94F24112D62 ;BBC One HD (27.5°W)”

Can anyone help me to understand the BISS keys opening the channel BBC One HD and other channels. The constant.cw /softcam.key file have been created in wordpad text document format

Hi Ross,

Firstly what image are you using on the Nano as this determines where the keyfile will go, Also standard Oscam cannot read a softcam.key file you need an Oscam Emu version for this.

Standard oscam will read a constant.cw file but you need to create a reader in the reader section of oscam.

i would also advise deleting all keys out of the file except for the BBC-Satback ones this will rule out any miss-reads from the file itself

CCCam should work without a problem

Hi digi247
Thanks for your response. I am using Openvix 5.1.27 release and in the OSCAM file/server l have
[reader]
label = biss
enable = 1
protocol = constcw
device = /etc/tuxbox/config/SoftCam.Key
caid = 2600
group = 1

and in the oscam status indicates connected
I have not done anything with lamedb but as indicated i converted the SID and VIPD to hex in “F 44841FFF 01 D581F94F24112D62 ;BBC One HD (27.5°W)” I need to review the link further in your response

I looked at the link and I have progressed to get BBC One HD working by entering the the extra parameters in Dreamboxedit together Video and PCR.
I am trying to work out how the extra parameters are generated "c:050001,c:1219ca,C:2600,f:4" as with ITV HD the extra parameters work but have subtitles on the screen

OOOooooo manic01. I love it the way you get me posting. All charm lol.
Here is a file that has a softcam key file for CCcam that goes in user keys. For CCcam
Also it has a file with the Oscam key file for Oscamymod 18-56 that goes in etc/tuxbox/config. For Oscam
Finally there's a modified Lamedb with all the channels on 27.5W (modified without subs except there is a film4+1 with them added) and all that i can receive on 28.2E from South Spain. (sorry you'll have to edit it in word or something).
Don't forget you have to stop the box using telnet init 4 and init 3 when changing the lamedb or it may not work.
